LEARNING THAT INSPIRES JOY
Meet the new paradigm in education, where joy, play, and ease make learning fun.
At Barefoot Learning Club, we believe education is an experience that should light kids up.
These four elements define the Barefoot Learning Club paradigm and shape the way we support and mentor you to provide the best quality education for your kids.
- Childhood learning is meant for Littles to explore without being trapped in a one-size-fits-all box.
- Today's children are called to freedom much more quickly than any other generation.
- Educational experiences must spark kids’ imaginations and inspire them to explore and experience the world around them.
- The best educational programs teach children how to think, not what to think.

True learning is about allowing the student to grow at his/her own pace.
That’s the magical time when a student goes from learning to thriving, whether it took them two weeks or two months to get there.
Now, we can hear you thinking: “But I’m not a good teacher. I’m not a teacher at all. How do I get MY kids to thrive?”
The answer’s in the Barefoot Learning Club paradigm.
The Barefoot Learning Club Homeschool Paradigm

1
Young children will never know the pain of being subjected to a broken system. They will be able to grow at their own pace from the beginning.

2
Parents will discover that gaps in their own learning are filled as they work with their children.

3
Children and parents feel the joy and discovery of learning.
We build a better foundation. Together.
We teach you to connect with your child through play-based learning while building their solid foundation in reading, writing, and math.
From Pre-K to 3rd Grade, it is essential to teach children two things: reading (which includes phonics, comprehension, and the joy of the story) and math (the four basic processes of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
There’s no rush. Encouraging children to work and learn at their own pace allows them to feel comfortable as they learn much, much more than in traditional “reading fast” programs.

Teaching through music, art, physical activity, social skills, meditation, self-regulation, and communication ensures young children have all the skills they need to find their personal genius and be compassionate and curious scholars.
Once your child steps beyond learning to read into reading to learn, they confidently study complex subjects more deeply.
- Science (everything from earth science to biology to physics)
- Social studies
- History
- Languages
- Robotics
- Computers (and all that entails)
- And so much more!
And it doesn’t need to take 7-8 hours every day. Traditional school days are full of time wasted on transitions and behavior management.
Once we eliminate that, you’ll find that your kids get way more done in a few hours than they ever completed at school.
And you choose how to structure your day in the way that best accommodates your child’s needs and your needs as an adult.
We provide the HOW. You provide the LOVE.

Conrad Weiland
I first started homeschooling with Kris around 3rd grade. I was forced to leave regular school due to health problems. I had a hard time focusing, retaining information, and writing. Oftentimes, I was too sick to leave bed. My parents were not sure what to do with me and how to get me through school. When we found Kris and she started homeschooling me, everything changed for the better. I started learning and retaining information. I was excited to learn everyday and felt safe and nurtured. My parents weren’t sure if I would graduate high school. I ended up graduating with honors (thanks to Kris) and now have completed and undergraduate degree, am in my last month of graduate school, and own my own company. Kris showed me how to learn quickly and effectively, how to determine if information was credible and to think for myself. I do not know where I would be without her. If you are thinking of working with her, do not hesitate! She is the best there is.
